Rhyolite-Tigers Eye-Malachite Bracelet

Well, it started out as an Etsy shop item...now I'm not so sure...

Since photographing this bracelet and trying to come up with a title...the phrase, "Lions and Tigers and Bears" keeps running through my brain, totally nonsensical but what can I say?

I have two other rhyolite bracelets in the works...hopefully they make it to my Etsy shop!

This is my newest Etsy necklace! You can check it out here! I'm lovin' the green turquoise and the burnished brass pendant! If you look closer you can see tiny shamrocks on the pendant. Ahh 'tis the luck of the Irish to be wearin' this - I tell ya!

Big Chunks of Turquoise and Copper Necklace!

This is actually a remake of a necklace that I had listed on Etsy but I just was not all that wild about the original. Now, I love this necklace!

This necklace is made with copper conchos, huge turquoise nuggets and copper wire wrapping! This necklace measures 32 inches in length!

Silver Spoons and Sparkling Stones

This is the latest addition to my Etsy shop, I hope you like it!

This silver plated spoon bracelet is the "Delaware Grape" Pattern discontinued in 1913, it measures 7" - 7 1/4" and is further enhanced with a trio of polished stones; Red Agate, a cloudy white agate and a purple stone, could it be amethyst?

Damaged Components, What To Do?

I was gifted with a large turquoise focal bead, unfortunately there was a visible crack on one side. However, I loved it even more because I thought no one else would. So, I embellished it by wrapping a copper stamping from top to bottom and I wanted the "crack" to show. Then I added two strands of turquoise nuggets and two strands of turquoise rondelles.

I liked it but it just needed something...then I remembered another necklace in my jewelry chest! The second necklace is made with bright orange seed beads, glass stones in different colors and a rescued focal bead. I layered them together and then it was perfect! I love this necklace and I wear it often.

What do you do with "damaged" art components?

Does This Happen to You?

Do you ever make something and during the process you fall in love with it? Well, it happens to me all the time...and here we go again!


What is one to do? My solution is to place these much-loved pieces in what can only be described as "PROTECTIVE CUSTODY"...they are packed away...never worn...and they wait...until I can emotionally release them to post in my Etsy shop.

But I have a feeling this necklace may become mine...soon...verrrrrry soon!

So what do you do?

All assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated...even if it is to commiserate about our shared dilemma.
