Fairy Homes?

As a child I so believed in Fairies! Today's photos are from two of many woodpiles throughout the property. As an adult I know this is fungus growing on the cut wood...but those childlike memories come flooding back and I so want to believe in Fairies again!

Do you see the doorway?

Will this fungus continue to grow until it becomes the roof of a new Fairy abode?

I do so hope I can coax Mr. B into saving these for me...then I will lovingly tuck them amongst the shade gardens for the Fairies to find their way to them.

    I so see the door. Are you going to put things around this to make it more homey for the fairies? I have seen some fairy gardens that are quite cute.

    I hear you need to plant some "white coral bells" near them..and if you hear the fairy's singing...you know you have made them feel quite at home.
    And THEN will HEAR the White Coral bells ringing TOO.
