Honey Bees!

The honey bees are everywhere! These little worker bees are very busy, flying from one flower to another. They don't seem to mind me attempting to capture them on film but don't let me try to pull weeds, they will start buzzing loudly and I know when to give them the space they need.

  1. Great picture, Sandy! I've always loved bees...so does my Mom. She grows copious amounts of lavender, which she's always picking...and NEVER gets stung! She's always told me that if you sing to them while your picking, or quietly tell them that you planted the lavender (or whatever) and they're welcome to be there, they will never sting you while you're gathering....it's always worked for us! May be silly, but it makes me happy!

Hope you have a beautiful day!

  2. Hi Sandy!
    That's such a great image!
Just be careful, they're not very understanding of us artistic types. ;-)

    Have a wonderful Wednesday!
